Lockpicking

This is a list of Junkboxes that you'll be able to get with the Pick Pocket skill. In this guide will be using  Footlockers and Doors.

  • 1 - 100

The respawn rate on this chest is quite fast. Skilling up from 1 to 100 will be easy.

    Horde:

    • [Buccaneer's Strongbox] - These chests are located on a ship near Rachet in The Barrens where the Bucaneer mobs are located right before entering Ratchet city, just hang a right before entering the city and follow the path.
    • [Burial Chest] - Blood Elves will be able to lockpick this type of chest.

    Alliance:

  • 100 - 170

Alliance and Horde rogues will have the poison quests which are the best and easiest way to level up to 170. Even if you finished the quest, you can still use the chests to gain skill ups, but the chests don't highlight when you mouse over them, so you have to search for your lockpicking skill first in your Spellbook and then click the chest.

    Horde:

    Alliance:

  • 170 - 225

At this point head to Badlands, more precisely Angor Fortress. You will find two kind of footlockers, you will need a lockpicking skill of 175 to open the [Dentened Footlocker].

  • 225 - 250

Go to Searing Gorge, it's near Badlands. Now you can try to Pick Pocket mobs too, because the             [Sturdy Junkbox] you will find turns grey only at 275.

  • [Dented Footlocker] - There are two kind of Footlockers with the same name, one of them turns green at 250, the other turns green at 275

.

  • 250 - 300

Head to Tyr's Hand in Eastern Plaguelands. Pickpocket the mobs and find all of the [Scarlet Footlockers].

  • 300 - 325

You can also Pick Pocket the mobs here, since they drop [Strong Junkbox].

  • 325 - 375

Pick Pocket mobs. When you reach 350, you can head to Northrend, but keep in mind skilling up on these is a lot faster than pickpocketing mobs at Northrend.

  • 375-400
